                                         " In Service To HIM "



You say you wish to give service, forsaking not, the LORD

Will it be part time? Or full time, Have you opened up His Word?

You see, to serve HIM well, You really, have to know HIM

And if you want to learn HIS ways,

HIS WORDS you need to know them

Do not you study, for a test, before you take a quiz?

For how can you serve, what ye, do not know

Does not, the farmer, know ,what he's growing?

So if you wish, to do Him well, then open, up His book

And learn the things, that HIS love brings

For HE wants, us all, to look

You can start to serve today, Beginning with your words

Remember all the things you've said

That CHRIST our LORD, has heard

Consider first, before you speak, who am I glorifying?

If it's not HIM, Then hold your peace

It will show HIM, that you're trying

Put a bridle on that tongue, It shows that you're aware

That the one true witiness, always hears

What's said and done down here!
